If tooling is what’s holding a job up: we take tooling transfers from other shops, amortize new tooling to spread the upfront cost, and stock tool steel so a die repair doesn’t stop your line.

Quotes are handled by the same small team that runs the floor. When you call to ask where your order is, we run JobBoss and can tell you exactly which operation it’s sitting in.

Straight answers

What to expect when you work with us.

How fast will I get a quote?

You will have a written proposal within the week, and often within the day you request it. Riverfront publishes one-day quotes as a standard, not an exception.

What drives lead time?

Three things: availability of material, how many operations your part requires, and current workload at the time of your request. Because stamping, machining, laser, welding, and finishing all happen in this building, your part isn’t waiting in a queue at someone else’s shop between steps.

How do I know where my order is?

We run the JobBoss system, so when you call we can tell you exactly where your order sits in the manufacturing process. Call (815) 663-5000 or email sales@rfmcaps.com any time.

I don’t have finished prints yet. Can you still help?

Yes. Tell us what the part needs to do and our team will work with you on the design. Our in-house tool room designs, builds, repairs, and maintains tooling to 0.0002″, including custom tooling for a specific project.

Do you handle both small runs and high volume?

Both. We quote prototype and short-run work as well as long-term production programs, and we hold a stocking program for immediate inventory on repeat parts.

Do you already have tooling for my part?

Possibly. We hold over 2,500 dies in inventory. We also support tooling transfer and tooling amortization to reduce upfront cost on a new program.
